I’ve been coming here for two years and usually have no issues. The lady who gave me a legs wax today was efficient and made conversation which I genuinely enjoyed, but while I was getting dressed to leave I could hear her from the next room joking with someone else about how long my appointment took because of how much hair I had and how some people just “don’t win the genetics lottery”. It ruined my experience and frankly made me feel insecure, even though I’m paying for this service. Not going to name the employee because her service is always great but this was an unprofessional slip up :/

I had my first Brazilian wax ever done by Robyn. It was extremely painful as expected, but done fairly quick. I do have a couple of hairs left, but that could be my fault from squirming around from the pain lol. However, I did expect to walked through the process since it was my first time, just to ease up the nerves and just have a better overall experience, but the service itself felt pretty rushed and quiet which made me a bit nervous and uncomfortable. I would recommend this place for people who have got waxed before and know the drill, but it’s probably not the best place for first timers. Aliza at the front did a great job at welcoming me.

Robin is wonderful! She explained everything as I am a newbie and made me feel comfortable. I will go back for sure.

I used to go here a few month ago when Nina was working here and at that time it wasn't an amazing experience. I went here last month and I kind of felt uncomfortable. I tried to make small talk with her and it was mainly one word answers, didn't really seem friendly or wanting to talk. Not a great experience

So disappointed. Not worth it at all. Staff was nice but I did a brazilian for the first time and she left so much hair behind. It started growing back within two days, I may as well have shaved. I bought a waxing kit at shoppers for half the price the day after to use on my legs and the hair hasn't even started growing back (it's been almost 3 weeks). She was so rushed as well. I've had my body waxed elsewhere and they're never as rushed and careless as this. I really wish I could've gotten the service I paid for.

I started going to Allure a few months ago and I don't regret my decision to use their service. The staff is so welcoming, and the facility is well-maintained, I don't want to go anywhere else to get my wax done. Ashley is amazing, she's been taking such great care of me and my best friend, I would highly recommend her as your next waxer!

I moved from the Danforth area to Newmarket and thank goodness I found my lifeline Siman. I’ve been to the Danforth location for many years and was afraid I wouldn’t find the same environment. She is always professional, friendly and always so positive. Siman is so fast and efficient I honestly thought she owned the place but she really loves her job and is passionate in what she does. Do not hesitate to book with Siman, she will not disappoint. She will forever be my go to at Allure.

Just had a brazilian wax with Siman. I’m still in awe of how fast and painless the experience was with her. It took less than 5 minutes! She’s kind and extremely experienced. Would highly recommend!

Hi, since I started coming here for my body waxing I have been very happy with the treatment, and professional courtesy and this is from various employees, which to me means that Frank has made an effort to ensure that his attention to detail with the staff was right on spot. I have been in business for quite a long time myself and know that the secret to success is in the hands of the staff. They are your front-line people so when you get results it is because of their ability to do it right. When I first went there I met Frank who suggested various areas for waxing and I felt comfortable with the service. Thank you, Frank. I had been to 2 other Waxers before I came to you they were small operations one or 2 people run by themselves but they moved away to other provinces. I am not sure if you remember me and I didn't mention it at the time but the business I had was the best on the Island with a staff of 350 employees and about 200 in sales, when we were at our strongest. They were the front line. I made sure that they were highly trained, especially with people skills and product information. When I started to close as I was moving to Canada I had to reduce it in stages as no other company had the resources to buy my company so I had to split it up and sell it in the section over the years as I had my staff feeling lost I told them that they were the best and I already have their jobs confirmed, all my competitors and wholesalers whom we supplied wanted my staff as they knew their capabilities. All of them were able to migrate to about 30 different companies at the same salary and with no loss of their years of service. Most became supervisors and managers with increased salaries within 2 years, The reason was simple they were training the owners and employees of the other companies with the knowledge and style they had learned. The business was a jewelry business, I am happy and proud of all of them. You have a wonderful staff that is doing their profession correctly. I know this is a long story but I give credit where it is due. Visited Approximately 2 months later this time it was not as difficult for the waxing. Luba was a very professional attendant who did an excellent job of waxing. I will be back in late February or early March. The sensation of Smooth is pleasantly pleasing. 😃

It was our first visit there and we were greeted not only by the staff but by the other visitors. This just shows the warm and welcoming environment that exists there. We had an amazing chat with the front line person and then met Siman as our esthetician and she not only made us feel comfortable, but made us feel special. Her work is simply artistic and transformational.

Quick services make it a good option when on the fly or stopping through town, and the lady at the front desk was super nice. That being said, my waxer walked right into the room before I was ready, talked to me more about my skin issues and trying to pressure me into buying products than having a genuine conversation. She also left wax all over my skin. Sometimes, the quality of the service is more important than speed.

I’ve been coming here since late last year. I would like to say that Siman is amazing in what she does. The first time I met her she greeted me at the door, took me to the room and explained everything to me. She seemed like a very happy person…something that you don’t find in retail/spa services much nowadays. I started off with lightening treatments but then she told me about laser and how much I could benefit from it. I trusted her and til this day I am SOOO happy I listened to her. Doing both the treatments has been life changing for me. She seems very knowledgeable and always provides me with the proper advice. I feel extremely comfortable with her and whenever I go in she is so full of energy and is always happy. She’s recommended a few of the body scrubs which have been so wonderful to use. You can tell she works really hard and she is all about customer service. I’ve recommended one of my family members to go there already and two friends and specifically ask for Siman. I will definitely keep recommending this place as I am very pleased with my services. I look forward to booking more services.
